natsu-what?

: To yearn for; to pine, for; nostalgia

It started as a simple sociological experiment with friends — sit around rattling off various films that we recall from our youth that we just had to view again to take us back to that bucolic time in our young lives.

The funny thing is, the films we remembered were not the films we saw today.

Enter natsukashi.

We knew others may have had similar cinematic experiences where the memories don’t match the reality, so we created a site to share our reflections.

Whenever possible, we connect to those who helped to create those memories, including cast and crew members who had a role in the films featured and have them share their memories of the film as well.

  1. HELL YEAH! Awesome site! Me and my partner got lathered up the other day and watched The Entity, That movie was the shit when it I was in school! The Rape scenes blew me away back then, I used to wonder how they got the shot of the ghost squeezing that ladies boobs, now that I am older and have spent 20 years doing special effects in haunted houses I could clearly tell it was a fake body but when I was younger I believed that Shit! I would have been better off with my memories of that one instead of
re watching it, I was disappointed to have that mystery solved : (
better remembered? However we also dusted off The Gate that night, STILL GREAT!
    Peace out!
